Once known as "the Alcatraz of the North," this old abandoned prison resides directly on the Maine/NH border. It has a long and storied history filled with escape attempts in which there were few to no known survivors as a consequence of trying to swim but being pulled under the powerful current of the Piscataqua river it perches over.
The now empty building finds itself reclaimed by nature.
