I have always doodled. I did it during every school class period I ever attended, every meeting I've ever been at, and every event I’ve ever gone to, doodling relaxes me. So recently I had an idea to combine those well honed doodling skills and draw something that felt relaxing and meditative, but also happened to be aesthetically pleasing. I found out that apparently there's a thing called "Zentangle" and other people have thought of this before me.
As usual though I wanted to put my own spin on it, and for a long time now I have been building on this idea in the back of my head of using the shape of a person, animal, house, (or anything really) and implement those same designs or maybe even a painting that would define the shape itself. I think that with my drawing, using the outline of the shape of my beloved cat Asher here, I'm getting there.
